We are well into day three of the Erie County Fair. It was very interesting to discuss our soap with the people that have been walking by our booth. Most people see GOAT MILK, and try to B-Line for the door. We are so used to craft fairs and people being a little more educated about goat milk soap and the benefits for your skin. This was a good educational experience for us. It is easy for us to start assuming that everyone knows about goat milk soap. Today we were reminded that there are a whole lot of people out there that have no idea about the benefits of goat milk soap!
Yesterday was a little slow so the three of us started discussing ways that we can help bring people into our booth. One of the ways we figured we could do this was by giving people a chance to try our soap right at our booth. This morning we got up a little bit earlier and headed to Lowe’s. There we were able to pick up a cart and basin, and then we went to Wal-Mart for a pitcher. In a matter of 2 hours we put together a washing station at our booth. This has been fairly productive, but we wont know for sure until 11pm tonight.
Continue to keep us in mind. It is going to be a long week, but we are optimistic of the outcome.
